The Icknield Port Loop has been designated as an area for regeneration by the Birmingham City Council. As part of it is in our area, we take a keen interest on the ideas for redevelopment and will publish any information we have as it becomes available.

The scheme was originally put forward by Advantage West Midlands but, because of the current econmic situation, the scheme is in abeyance. However, it appears that the loint owners of the site are in the process of lodging a planning application along the lines of the document above.
